a. Note:   Violet Lohman Violet Irene (McKinnon) Lohman, 76, House Springs, died Dec. 20, 2004, In House Springs. She was born March 6, 1928, in St. Louis, the daughter of Orville and Lanie (Jones) McKinnon.
  She was a homemaker.
  She is survived by her husband, Edward J. Lohman of House Springs; one daughter, Barbara (Keith) Kinnard of Park Hills, Mo.; three sons, Edward (Marcine) Lohman of Firestone, Col., Bobby Lohman of Charleston, Mo., and Lindsey (Kelly) Lohman of Byrnes Mill; two sisters, Doris Hatton of St. Louis county, and Charlotte (Finies) Luecke of Arnold; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
  She was preceded in death by her parents, and by two sons, Thomas and Gene Lohman.
  Graveside services were private.

 Violet Lohman Violet Irene Lohman, 76, of House Springs, died Monday (Dec. 20, 2004) in House Springs.
  Mrs. Lohman was a homemaker.
  There were no funeral services. A private burial was held.
  Arrangements were handled by Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home in Arnold.
  Among survivors are her husband, Edward J. Lohman of House Springs; a daughter, Barbara Kinnard of Park Hills, Mo.; three sons, Lindsay Lohman of Byrnes Mill, Edward Lohman of Firestone, Colo., and Bobby Lohman of Carlston, Mo.; two sisters, Doris Hatton of St. Louis County and Charlotte Luecke of Arnold; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
  Irene Lohman always told me that she grew up on a farm in Dunklin County, Missouri and that she would go fishing quite frequently with her grandmother. Her father would work in St. Louis and would come home on weekends. Being the oldest, she watched over the other children and always told me that her mother had her do all the housework. One thing I found interesting is that she told me not long before she died that her blood type was different from both her parents. This would make be believe that she was fathered by another man. She also said that no one else in the family had health problems like she did. I have tried to locate her and her family on the 1930 census with no luck.
