a. Note:   Grace and John Klunk took care of Grace's father, John, until his death in 1966 at the age of 100. She was always very active in volunteer work at the local hospitals even in her 80's. When she was younger, she was a foster parent of many children and helped to take care of many nephews and nieces.
  Grace can be seen in her 1925-26 8th grade graduating class photograph: (Left to Right) Grace Amelung, Lorene Duree, Lowell Barnes, Mr. Leash, Julia Filko (Robinson), Elsie Sutton, and Harry Rohan.

Amelung and Lillie Hammil, beloved sister of five brothers and one sister, mother of John E. (Carol) Klunk, Sr., and Patricia Peters, loving grandmother of John E. Jr., Stephen, Craig, Diane (Timothy) Quinn, Debra (Russell) Jeschke Jr., great-grandmother of Nicole, Desire, Russell III, Taylor, Samantha, Niko, Brianna and Alixandra, fond sister-in-law and fond aunt and great-aunt of many ieces and nephews, friend to all.
