Notes
a. Note:   Star Route 69, box 2340 Ironton Missouri 63650 There are a few "family stories" that have been handed down and Henry is no exception. As was explained to me by my father regarding his younger brother, Henry, he was very sickly when he was born and the doctors gave up hope that he would live. His mother Mary, would carry him around on a pillow. An Indian woman seeing him told Mary that he would not live to which Mary explained that the doctors had already given up on him. The Indian woman brought her some Snake Root and showed her how to make a tea and how much to give him. He regained his health and miraculously lived.
