Amelunke, aged 71, died suddenly at the home of her son, Albert Amelunke, of a heart attack Monday night. Funeral services will be conducted at the Zion Lutheran Church this afternoon, burial to be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Amelunke was born at Gordonville, Feb. 16, 1877. She married August Amelunke April 12, 1896, who died in 1941. She was a life-long member of the Zion Lutheran Church. Surviving are two sons, Leo and Albert Amelunke of Dutchtown; a daughter, Mrs. Amanda Sprenger of Chaffee; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Amelunke, 71 years old, wife of the late August Amelunke, died suddenly of a heart attack at 10 o'clock Monday night at the home of a son, Albert Amelunke at Dutchtown. She was sitting in a chair talking to friends when she was stricken. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at Zion Lutheran Church with the pastor, Rev. G.B. Seboldt, in charge. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The body will remain at the Lorberg Funeral Home until noon Thursday. Mrs. Amelunke is survived by two sons, Leo and Albert Amelunke of Dutchtown; a daughter, Mrs. Amanda Sprenger of Chaffee; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Her husband, two sisters and a brother have preceded her in death. Born Feb. 16, 1877, at Gordonville, she had resided in the community all her life. She was married to August Amelunke on April 12, 1896, and who passed away in 1941. She was a lifelong member of the Zion Lutheran Church.
