  Edward Tyler was the son of Elizabeth Duvall and Edward Tyler. He was also the progenitor of the Tyler family in Jefferson County, Kentucky (Louisville area). He was married to Ann Langley and they reportedly had 10 children. The Tyler Cemetery is also known as the Edward Tyler Cemetery after him.
