  He was married Oct. 18, 1802 in Jefferson Co., Kentucky to Margaret "Peggy Reed. They were the parents of eight known children: Moses, Mary Ann "Polly," Allen, Oswell/Auswell, Harvey, Phebe Ann, William Milton, John, and Eleanor Ellen Ella Ann Tyler.
