Carrie Loretta Allen Walker, 89, passed away November 14, 2005, at the Medicalodge in Columbus, Ks., following a period of illness.
She was born August 1, 1916, in rural McCune, Ks., to Harry and Goldia Morris Allen. She graduated from West Mineral High School.
She married Robert Walker on June 6, 1936 in Oswego, Ks. He preceded her in death Jan. 15, 2002.
Carrie is survived by six daughters:

Beulah Wheeler of Columbus, Ks.
Nora Mae Coon of Aurora, Ill.
Lynetta Faye Handshy of Moline, Ks.
Ida Eldora Walker of Haskell, Okla.
Melody Ann Eisenbart of Cherryvale, Ks.
Three sons:
Robert Neil Walker of Collinsville, Okla.
Don Walker of Baytown, Tx.
Allen "Lonnie" Walker of Spring Hope, N.C.
Three sisters:
Mauana Wilson of McCune, Ks.
Winona Goedeke of McCune, Ks.
Ramona Horn of Wichita, Ks.
One brother:
Gerald Allen of McCune, Ks.
