a. Note:   Edward Calvin Eddie Mason, 68, resident of Bartlesville and retired Bartlesville Police Officer, died at 8:03 PM on Thursday, November 20, 2014. Edward was born June 23, 1946, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Cecil and Minnie (Burns) Mason.
  He was raised in the Bartlesville area and attended schools in Copan, and Dewey, Oklahoma graduating high school from Dewey high school in 1964. Eddie was employed with Phillips Petroleum Company for four years. He served on the Dewey Volunteer Fire Department and the Dewey Police Department from 1972 to 1975. He was employed by the Bartlesville Police Department starting as a patrolman and retiring as investigator in 2001.
  After retirement Eddie continued to work in law enforcement, working in security at Rogers State College and as an investigator for the Dewey Police Department. Eddie served on the Bartlesville City Council from 2005 to 2009 and 2012 to 2014. He attended the Dewey First Baptist Church for many years. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, Lion`s Club and the Bartlesville Masonic Lodge AF & AM.
  Survivors include; his wife Juanita G. Mason of the family home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma; one son David Mason of Bartlesville; two daughters Tami Lewis and her husband Charles of Bartlesville and Jeni Dutton and her husband Charles of Oklahoma City; two step-sons Kenneth Seabolt and his wife Norma of Bartlesville and Travis Seabolt and his wife Amanda of Ramona, Oklahoma; one step-daughter Brenda Erickson of Claremore, Oklahoma ; one brother Charlie Mason and his wife Gail of Bartlesville, his former wife Sandy Dillon of Dewey; sixteen grandchildren; Marvin, Aaron, Zachary, Lydia, Marquez, Savannah, Eli, Reagan, Blake, Payton, Brent, Branna, Erin, Hailey, Destiny and Brandon and six nieces and nephews.
  Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 25, 2014, in the First Baptist Church in Dewey, Oklahoma. Bartlesville Police Department Honor Guard will provide honors for Mr. Mason.
  Buried: Cremated, Location of ashes is unknown
