For the sum of $125, the parties of the first part sell to the party of the second part a tract of land lying in the township of West Wheatfield, Indiana County, described as follows:
Beginning at a Beech on the lands of the [unclear];
Thence by the same South 22 3/4 degrees East 16 perches to a post;
Thence North 76 degrees West 17 perches to a post at the township road;
Thence by the same North 16 1/2 degrees; East 13 perches to a post;
Thence south 6 degrees East 7 3/10 perches to the place of beginning;
bounded on all sides by the original tract, containing 1 acre, being part of a larger tract made vested in Elliott Robinson's deed dated 26 May 1877.

Obituary
Benjamin Lear, 84, Died at His Birthplace May 14 [1938] -- Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at his late home for Benjamin Lear, aged 84 years, one of Bolivar's oldest citizens. Mr. Lear died at his home Saturday, May 14. He was born in Bolivar, July 31, 1853 and was a member of the Christian church. His pastor, the Rev. O.N. Bennett, was in charge of the services. Burial was made in Westview cemetery, Bolivar. Surviving Mr. Lear are his widow, Mrs. Margaret Lear and these children: Mrs. Susie Stevens and Mrs. Lulu Newbould of Blairsville; Mrs. Bertha Caldwell of New Florence; Charles Lear of Erie, Mrs. Agnes Tantlinger, Elmer Lear and Hiram Lear all of Bolivar. Also surviving are the following step-daughters: Mrs. Cora Rhoades, Mrs. Mary Long, Mrs. Goldie James and Mrs. Susie Muir all of Bolivar.
