  The regular monthly meeting of the Woman's Home Missionary society of the Trinity Methodist church met on Tuesday night at the church with 35 members present and with Mrs. John Garber presiding. The following program was presented by a number of young people of the church:

  BARNES -- Elloise D., 61, Scalp Avenue, died April 1, 1983, at Memorial Hospital. Born Oct. 4, 1921, in Roaring Spring, daughter of late Michael E. and Frostie I. (Burns) Reffner. Preceded in death by a brother. Survived by husband, Elden G., at home; son, Donald G., married to former Susan F. Kuhn, Ventura, Calif.; and daughter, Nancy C., wife of Richard E. Caldwell, New Florence; also seven grandchildren. Sister of Otha Reffner, Roaring Spring, and Oris Reffner, Tonawanda, NY. Member of Bethany United Methodist Church and Builders Sunday School Class and president of church choir. There will be no viewing or visitation. Memorial service at 1 p.m. Monday at Bethany church, the Rev. Richard King, followed by interment at convenience of family, Bedford County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, family memorial contributions be made to Bethany church or American Heart Association. Funeral arrangements by R. Owen Ketterer Funeral Home, Geistown.
