 Funeral: Private services will be held.
  OCEAN SPRINGS --- John C. Mills Sr., 79, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 1999, in Biloxi.
 Mr. Mills was born in Clara and had been a longtime resident of the Coast. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II. He was a brick mason and a member of the Bricklayer's Union. He was of the Episcopal faith.
 He was preceded in death by a son, John C. Mills Jr.; and his parents, George and Abigail Lewis Mills.
 Survivors include his wife, Julia Tucei Mills of Ocean Springs; two daughters, Beverly Mills of D'Iberville and Susan Mann of Wills Point, Texas; a son, Gregory Mills of Biloxi; and seven grandchildren.
 Private services will be held. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
 The family prefers memorials to the American Diabetes Association, 16 Northtown Drive, Suite 100, Jackson, Miss., 39211.
