Mills, Wendell Holmes
Mr. Wendell Holmes Mills--A native of Clara, MS, and a resident of Eight Mile, AL, for the past 27 years, died in a local hospital on Friday, November 19, 1993. He is survived by his wife, Vera Mae Mills of Eight Mile; one daughter, Gloria Mills (Jim) Jerkins of Chickasaw, AL; two grandchildren, Bridgette (Bobby) Purvis of Irvington, AL, and Melissa Jerkins of Mobile; two great-grandchildren, Ashton Purvis and Anthony Purvis, both of Irvington, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home in Saraland on Sunday, November 21, 1993, from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held from the graveside on Monday, November 22, 1993, at 11:30 AM, with interment in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
