 William Irwin
 William Irwin, a life-long resident of this vicinity, died at his home at Yagerville, on Wednesday, February 15, after a lingering illness. Mr. Irwin was eighty-six years of age on August 8, 1932. He was a Civil War veteran. Mr. IrwinÕs wife, Frances Barbara [Mary Frances Barber], died a number of years ago.
 Surviving are eight children: Mrs. Amy Krum of Parksville, Barbara [Barber] at Lackawack Hill, Matthew at Neversink, Dave at Ravena, Jake at Selkirk, and Mrs. Moses Depuy, Hershell and Elmer, living at Yagerville. There are two brothers, Abram, of Montela, and Eugene of New Paltz. One sister, Mrs. Sarah Hornbeck; also forty-two grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. Besides several nieces and nephews surviving.
 The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Sherman Gillette, at the Montela M. E. Church on Saturday. The six sons acted as pall-bearers. Burial was in the Furman Cemetery at Yagerville.

 Matters Before The Surrogate
 Will of William H. Irwin, who died in Montela February 15, admitted to probate upon petition of Barber Irwin of Lackawack, a son. There is real estate valued at not to exceed $500 and personal of not more than $1,700. Raymond G. Cox is the attorney. The farm of 55 acres is left to Phebe Depuy, daughter. The personal is given to the children--Barber of Lackawack, Matthew of Neversink, Hurshel and Elmer of Montela, David and Jacob of Ravena, Amy Irwin Krom of Parksville, and four grandchildren.
