 Mrs. Kate Quick, an aged lady of this place, had a slight stroke of paralysis recently.

 Mrs. Katherine Quick, an aged lady, died at her home Monday of pneumonia, being ill only two days. Mrs. Quick was in her 87th year and has lived nearly all her life in this place, and always was a kind mother and a good neighbor. Mrs. Quick is survived by three sons and one daughter, Uriah, Barry [Byron] and Eugene, and Mrs. Minnie Barley, all of this place.

 The funeral of Mrs. Katherine Quick, who died on January 10, was held in the church on Friday, January 14, at 11 oÕclock. The services were conducted by our pastor, Rev. N. L. Heroy. The bearers were Henry D. Dewitt, Stephen Gorsline, Chancelor Quick, and James Quick. Interment at Tabasco Cemetery.
