 EDWARD POLACH
 ALBANY -- Edward Polach, 76 years, of Albany, NY, passed away suddenly on July 24, 1997, while fishing off of Rhode Island. He was born in Lorain, OH on September 29, 1920, son of the late Wenczslas & Mollie (Surmick) Polach. Edward was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army. He had retired from the Tobin Packing Co. in Albany, NY in 1981. He was a member of the Voorheesville Rod & Gun Club, the Earlton Rod & Gun Club and the Lamplighters & Ridge Runners Social Club. His wife the former Norma Lee Irwin pre-deceased him in 1990 and he was also pre-deceased by a brother Joseph Polach. Surviving are a daughter, Lisa Polach of Schenectady, NY; two sons, Mark Polach of Climax, NY, and Paul Polach of Freehold, NY; also two grandchildren, Lea and Sarah King. Funeral service will be Monday, 8:30 p.m. from the Cunningham Funeral Home in Greenville, NY. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday after 7 p.m. Cremation will be at the Albany Rural Cemetery.
