 Jacob Krom, 76, of Accord died at Ellenville Saturday. He was born in Lyonsville, May 6, 1891, a son of Eli and Melissa Kelder Krom. Surviving are a brother, Arthur of New Paltz; three sisters, Mrs. Martha Quick of Kingston; Miss Lizzie Krom and Mrs. Alfred Bairs [actually Roddy], both of Pennsylvania; also, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Loucks Funeral Home, 79 North Main street, Ellenville, Tuesday at 2 p. m.
 The Rev. Ralph E. Spoor Jr., of Ellenville Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Bush Cemetery, Kerhonkson.

  Date of birth from WW I draft regisration card, where he states that his next of kin is Melissa Krom, his mother. Obituary is clearly wrong regarding his dob and age.
  1900 census lists his dob as May 1884.
  Actual age at death: 68, or perhaps 72?
