Bay Minette, Ala.--Funeral services for Herbert Howard Mills, 67, of Bay Minette were held ay 24 from the chapel of Johnson-Quimby-Norris Funeral Home with the Rev. Dewitt Thompson officiating. Burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery.
Mills died May 22 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Biloxi, Miss. He was a retired mechanic and a native of Wayne Co., Miss. Mills was also a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include one daughter, Dorothy Plato, Bay Minette, one son, Herbert Alvin Mills, Cantonment, Fla; four brothers, Wendell Mills and George Mills, both of Mobile, John C. Mills of Biloxi, Miss., and Arien Mills, New York; three sisters, Elizabeth Young, Eight Mile, Ala., Daisy Goodman, Eight Mile, and Vick Henderson, Sacramento, Calif.; nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
