Note: N1828 Kingston Freeman, September 9, 1921 Henry Boat, a native and lifelong resident of Ellenville, died Tuesday night at his home, East Canal street, after an illness of about three years, which had its origin from a stroke. He was a boatman in the days of the D. & H. canal and was also employed in boat building, afterward working upon the village streets. The deceased was in his sixty-fourth year and was the son of Leonard Boat and Mariah DeWitt, who come from Holland. He married Josephine Hendrickson, and one daughter besides the widow survives him, Mrs. R. M. Richardson, of Poughkeepsie. The funeral took place from his late home this morning at 10 oĆclock, the service being in charge of the Rev. W. S.
