We are not doing too well but alright and reason of course my throat still hurts. And I'm afraid always will. I don't expect any good news from that Doctor. He didn't talk encouraging at all. His name is Dr. N . He was very nice. Made my throat real sore him probing around in it with all those implements. But you know I'm 77 years old and none of my people that I know of except Grandma Aycock lived that long. She died at 78--My mother 74 and my Daddy 48--one bro 32. All my Daddys people were short lived, around 50 or 60. Helen and the children are ok now but Randy lost 2 days from school this week. I'm about to make a barber out of Helen. She has cut my wool and shaved me this week and she is going to shave me today. I hate to be so helpless, but I can't help it. Seems like I have always wanted to be able to wait on myself, but now look at me. I often think of Julius Caesar. They said of him that but yesterday his word could have conquered the world, but now lies he there none so poor to do him reverence. Daddy
