a. Note:   shoemaker.. came to victoria in 1854 (date must be wrong..) On the Victorian Assisted and Unassisted passenger lists there is a Elizabeth Lockett and a Jane Lockett stating the same age arriving on the “Geelong” in 1854. This could possibly be them.
  They are listed as being English and Welsh?
  This would mean that Elizabeth may have met Edward in Victoria and not Cornwall.
  James Locket sailed on the “James Carson” a month before the girls arrived.
