Notes
a. Note:   Pierre Arcement, Marie Hebert and their son, Pierre Arcement disembarked at St. Malo on March 9, 1757 from the ship "du Supply". This family resided in the parish of St. Suliac, France between 1759 and 1772.
This information was given to me by Herbert and Faye Daigle.
An entry on page 20 of "The Acadians in France" by Milton Rieder shows that Pierre was in the hospitat from Nov. 3 to Nov. 17 of 1762.
By 1772 Pierre and Marie and eight children: Pierre, 14, Charles Julien, 8, Tranquile Foix, 6, Guillaume, 7 mo., Margueritte, 11, Marie Josephe, 10, victoire Helene, 4 and Perrine Madne., 2, were in Rocheforte, France. (The Acadians in France page 34)
In 1785 the Arcement family came to Louisiana on the ship "La Ville D'Archangel.
Pierre and 5 of his children are listed in the 1788 census of Lafourche Parish, La. Marie Josephe Hebert, his wife, is not. I don't know if she died in St. Suliac or here in Lafourche Parish. That year Pierre lived on 6 arpents of land and owned 40 quarts of corn, 2 sheep and 2 guns.
