Mayola Boquet Blanchard, 63, native and resident of Bourg, died Sunday, Oct 26, 1986.
Services at St. Ann Cath. Chr. in Bourg, burial in chr. cem.
SURVIVED by husband Alphonse Blanchard; mother, Roszina Arceneaux Boquet; sons, Roy Blanchard Sr., Michael Blanchard, both of Houma, John, Robert Blanchard both of Montegut, and Joseph Blanchard Sr. of Alaska; daughters, Mrs Gail (Mary) Prosperie, Mrs Hanson (Janet) Hornsby, Mrs Robert (Elaine) Hutchinson, all of Bourg, Mrs Craig (Joyce) Guidry, Mrs Marvin (Rosena) Quartrevingt, both of Bayou Blue, Mrs Allen (Anne) Plaisance of Lockport and Mrs Clyde (Mona) Arceneaux Sr. of Canada; brothers, Cyril, Andrew, Julius, Carl and Lloyd Boquet.
PRECEDED by father, Louis Boquet; son, Phillip Blanchard; brothers, Allen, Roy and Charles Boquet; sisters, Alice Blanchard, Ruth Pinel, Jane Champagne, Rosemary Rhodes and Gertrude Aucoin.
Mrs Blanchard was a member of the Ladies Alter Society of St. Ann's, received the Bishop's Award and worked with the C.C.D. Program in Bourg.
In lieu of floweres, donations may be made to the Diabetes Association.
