 .........Another problem is with Joseph Guidry's parents. I have a doubt that he is the son of
 Augustin Guidry. In the Baton Rouge Diocese Records He is listed as marrying Monique
 Dupius on May 24, 1773. Listed as the parents of Jopseph are Augustin Guidry and
 Anne Hebert. This is in vol 2 page 272. In the Bona Arsenault book's it is also listed that
 his secound marrige is to Monique and names two children, but they are listed in the
 Baton Rouge Records as the children of Elizabeth Comeau.In the 1777 census of St.
 James Parish at Cabahannocer Joseph and Elizabeth are listed and have 5 children, Donat
 8, Joseph 5, Alexandre 5, Felicite 3, Judith 1. The last two are the ones that Bona
 Aresnualt give to Monique Dupuis. There are some who now think that Joseph is the son of
 Paul Guidry and Anne Muis d'Entremont. Paul is the older brother of Augustin Guidry......
