SSDI RONALD J SAVOIE b. 08 Oct 1932 d. 20 Jul 1994 last address 70364 (Houma, Terrebonne, LA) last residence (none specified) SS# 435-48-1622 issued Louisiana ************************* Ronald "Bud" Savoie was a community leader, business man, husband, father, cousin, friend and mentor to many. He owned and operated a General Store in our community for many years. My husband and many of the young men in the community at that time had their first jobs there. Bud is credited with blessing them with nicknames that have lasted through their lives. He was very active in his church, volunteering untold hours of his time. Bud was on dialysis since about 1969, give or take a couple of years. He was in the service and served in Korea where his group was hit with some type of chemical which didn't manifest itself until years later. He survived the longest of the men in his group. He and Lucille have always been good to our sons and they were a pleasure to be around. It was a very sad day in our home when he died. He is sorely missed.
