  PORCHE, MARIE (CARO)
  Marie Caro Porche, 97, a native of Bayou Blue and a resident of Houma, died today at 2 a.m., (March 16, 1984).
  Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until funeral time at the funeral home on Saturday. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in St. Francis de Sales No. 1 Cemetery.
  She is survived by three sons, Louis and Alphonse Porche, both of Bayou Blue and Ernest Porche of Houma; six daughters, Mrs. Lawrence (May) Bergeron of New Orleans, Mrs. Rita P. Bergeron, Mrs. Levie P. LeBoeuf, Mrs. Laurentine P. Toups, Mrs. Anna P. Richard and Mrs. Maude P. Matherne, all of Houma; two brothers, Peter and King Caro, both of Bayou Blue; one sister Mrs. Madeline Cadiere of Houma; 37 grandchildren; 100 great grandchildren; 20 great great grandchildren; and 1 great great great grandchild.
  She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Porche; parents Mr. and Mrs. John Caro; sisters, Miss Mathilde Caro, Mrs. Olivia Samanie and Mrs. Grace Maronge.
