  Marcel - On Sunday, August 19, 1951 at 1 o'clock am, Alfrida Pontiff Marcel , of Bayou Blue Route, Houma, La.; wife of victor Marcel; mother of Mrs Jesse Bergeron, Mrs Kelly Wilkerson, Mrs Thaddeus Daigle, Mrs Lionel Baudoin, Mrs Andrew Cantrelle, Mrs Roland Voclain, and Horace, Forest, Frances, Erin and Melvin Marcel, aged 59 years, a native of Terrebonne Parish.
 Funeral services were held Monday, August 20, 1951 at 9 o'clock am from the Chauvin Funeral Home to St. Louis Catholic church, Bayou Blue.
