Note: Thibodaux, LA; Daily Comet A religious service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday at the First Presbyterian Church in Houma for Nora Marie Daigle Cooper, 82, a native and resident of Houma, who died at 12:30 p.m. April 26, 1997. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in St Francis de Sales No. 2 Cemetery. She was the mother of John A. Jr. and Charles E. Cooper of Houma, Phoebe Elizabeth Weaver of Baton Rouge, Catherine Sydney LeBlanc of Theriot and Willie Lou Faulk of Houston; sister of Pearl Robichaux of Houma. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Alderson Cooper Sr.; parents, Sidney Lucien and Phoebe Marie Guidry Daigle; and a sister, Elizabeth Daigle. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and was a member and former president of the Republican Women's Club. She was a retired school teacher with 28 years of service in Terrebonne Parish. Chauvin Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
