Note: Louis Daniel Guidry, 82, a native and resident of Houma died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012 at 9:16 a.m.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Sept. 14, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Liturgy of the Word will be held on Friday, Sept. 14, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.. Burial at Terrebonne Memorial Park.
He is survived by his, wife of 50 years, Henrietta Lirette Guidry of Houma, son; Timothy Guidry and wife Tonia Voisin Guidry of Houma, daughter; Carla Guidry Gravenkemper and husband John Gravenkemper of Plano, TX, brother; Ulysse Guidry Grandchilden: Tori Lynn Guidry, Katelyn Guidry, Ross Gravenkemper and Josh Gravenkemper.
He was preceded in death by his, parents; Freddie and Armentina Marcel Guidry, brothers; Whitney Guidry, Chester Guidry, Acklan Guidry, Wade Guidry, Michell Guidry, and Hewitt Guidry, sister: Sarah Guidry.
He was a member/parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church.
He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
