Blanche Matherne Lejeune of Harvey, LA on Saturday, October 21, 1995 pm; beloved wife of the late John Walter LeJeune Sr.; mother of Clara LeJeune Daigle, John Walter LeJeune, Jr. and the late Mark Dale LeJeune; mother in law of Carol Orgeron LeJeune, Nelson Daigle and the late carolyn LeJeune; daughter of the late Julie Marie Touchard and Charles Matherne,; sister of Anne Gueffier, Gladys Schaubhut of Des Allemonds, LA, Cerene (Fifi) Matherne of Lockport, LA, the late John, Charles, Ardon (Don) Matherne, Lucille Lejeune and Cecile Schaubhut. Also survived by 7 gr and four ggr; Age 85 years; A native of Des Allemands, LA and a longtime resident of Marrero and Harvey, LA. Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of Harvey Post Office, Monsanto Chemical Co., South Central Bell and Witco are invited to attend Funeral Services at Mothe Funeral HOmes, Inc., 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Tuesday, October 24, 1995 at 9:00 a.m. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park. Parlors will be open Monday evening from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Donations to People's Home Health Care and Hospise, 1743 Stumpf Blvd, Gretna, LA, 70056 preferred in lieu of flowers.
