a. Note:   Gambsky, Kenneth 'Ken,' Menasha, Age 79, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2003 at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born on October 11, 1923 in Menasha the son of the late Charles and Ruby Smith Gambsky. In his early life he was a heavy equipment operator and later owned and operated a dairy farm on the outskirts of Menasha. He enjoyed woodworking throughout his life.
  He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather and will be sadly missed by his wife Eleanor of Menasha,
 his children: James (Jennifer) Gambsky of Menasha, Kenneth (Christine) Gambsky of Neenah, Charlotte (Terry) Olson of Neenah, Mary (Arleigh) Lueck of Appleton, F. Joseph (Deborah) Gambsky of Menasha, Kelly (Sheri) Gambsky of Greenville, Spencer (Doris) Gambsky of Neenah, and Stacy (Steve) Hopper of De Pere;
 22 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
  He was especially blessed with the birth of his grandchild Christopher Anthony Hopper on August 31, 2003.
  Ken was also survived by his brother and sisters: Charles Gambsky of Menasha, Beth (Sam) Overton of Appleton, and Joy (Dick) Lingnowski of Menasha;
 his sister-in-law Evelyn Gambsky of Menasha,
 and a brother-in-law Robert Huelsbeck of Appleton.
  Kenneth was preceded in death by his daughter who is his little sweetheart Barbara on May 26, 2001,
 his granddaughter Shelley Gambsky,
 his brother Fay Gambsky,
 and a sister Kathryn Huelsbeck
  A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted on Friday, September 5, 2003 at 11:30 AM at ST MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 540 Second Street in Menasha with the Rev. Roy Geenen officiating. Interment will take place at St. Margaret Mary Cemetery in Neenah. Friends may call on Friday at the church from 9:30 AM until the time of the mass. The family wishes to express their thanks to Dr. Paul McAvoy, Dr. Robert W. Johnson, Ken's nurse Hope, Dr. Mark Hermans, and the staff on the fifth floor at Theda Clark Regional Medical Facility.
