Note: Carlton L. Kotkoskie, 69, Winneconne, died Saturday Morning in Oshkosh Care. He was born in Redgranite on Sept. 20, 1919, the son of the late Leon and Margaret Kotkoskie. In his early years he lived in Oshkosh and was drafted in the U.S. Army, serving in World War II. After the war he was employed in Oshkosh as a journeyman electrician for various companies. He retired from Morgan Ltd. in 1987 after 17 years service. He married Marion Hoger in Winneconne May 23, 1970 and they made their home in Butte des Morts. They had resided in Winneconne since 1971. Mr. Kotkoskie was a member of the I.B.E.W. Union No. 577, Appleton and was a member of the Oshkosh VFW. Surviving are his wife, Marion; three sisters, Mrs. Vernon (Jo) Chalupa, Kimberly, Mrs. Mark (Elizabeth) Capers, Oshkosh, and Mrs. Everett (Leona) Philips, DePere; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at Mueller Funeral Home Tuesday morning with the Rev. Richard Krell officiating. Burial was in Winneconne Cemetery. Casket bearers were James Brooks, Fred Merkey, John Andersen, Ivan Andersen, Clarence Yaroch and Maynard Blink. Winneconne News Mar. 22, 1989 p.2
