Michael Marek, formerly of 394 1/2 Wisconsin Ave, died Thursday at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minn. He was married in Oshkosh in 1912 to Emma Gahr, who preceded him in death on Oct 28, 1955. Following her death Mr Marek went to Gunninson, Colo. to live with his son, Robert. While in Oshkosh, he had been employed many years by Deltox Rug Company.
Surviving besides the son is
one grandchild,
four nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Monday at 2 P.M. at Meyer Funeral Home, with the Rev. Alexander Weinbender, Pastor of Christ Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from Sunday afternoon until the hour of services.

Pallbearers were David Gahr, Donald Gahr, Frank Berger III, Frank Berger Jr., Stephen Berger and Carl Kotkoskie. Burial was in Lakeview Memorial Park.
