 The 1860 Census says that Nicholas Reinhardt, age 49, was a farmer who owned $2000 in real estate and $1000 in personal property. He lived in the same area as and came from the same homeland as Charles Lewis Miller. He and his wife Catherine were born in Bavaria.
  From Abstracts of the Naturalizations Recorded in Brown County, Ohio 1818 - 1926 (Common Pleas Court Journal #13, Series I (1844 - 1845):
 pg. 214: "Reinhart, Nicholas - Subject of Biern, Germany, sailed from Havre de Grace September of 1839 and landed in New Orleans in November 1839, removed to Cincinnati, Ohio thence to Straight Creek in Brown County, where he has lived upwards of five years.. Made declaration of intent April 15, 1845."
