"William Badgley, son of Andrew and Easter, born in OH in 1802, and is presumably the head of the family living next to his sister Betsy in the 1830 census for White Oak Twp., Highland Co., OH. Both adults are 'between twenty and thirty', with a younger male between fifteen and twenty. Those ages may be off a bit if he's the same William who, with his wife, is ca. age 45 in the 1850 census. For the present, let's say they're the same ones. Also listed are a boy and a girl, both under five...His will was made 7 Nov. 1859 and proved 6 Jan 1860.
"This William may be the one who bought 118 acres in Highland Co., OH from David Gibson and Mary, his wife, and John Gibson on 18 Sept. 1834.
"The will names his wife and his 4th son, William Harvey plus his 5th son George Washington. Executors are Henry Surber and Abel R. Mowry. Lydia was also born in OH during 1804/5. They sold land to Richard Marrs on 18 Aug. 1837. They resided in Clay Twp., Highland Co., OH."
