Notes
a. Note:   Note from Bertha I believe Adventist came into the family through two ways. My grandmother, Emma and her sister attended an Adventist conference without dad knowing, I believe in Grand Cayman, and they got baptized. Father Harcourt knew, got disappointed but let it go. His wife told dad that she will accompany the girls to watch over, but in reality, she was also converted by heart. Her dad lived in providence and got very ill, so she and the two Adventist daughter decided to come visit "mom's" I'll dad. The ship super o.j. Panama and the mom went to the local SDA pastor and asked him to baptize her, that she was ready. The pastor was concerned of her husband's reaction, and she said that he would never know, that the girls would not tell. Pop Harcourt died and never know she was an Adventist. Back to the trip to providence, my grandmother Elma meet my grandfather, Rudolph Newball. They were married in less than a month. Then, my grandfather was a new convert too who knew the Adventist message in Panama... A long story.
