The same farm was his home for 40 years. Here he suffered the hardships of the early pioneer. It was here also that bis family of eleven children, six boys and five girls, were born and grew to manhood and womanhood. After the death of his wife, August 20, 1920+, he continued to live on the home place with his son, Albert and wife. Some of the other children lived in the neighborhood, which made it very enjoyable for him in his declining days. Mr. Wenck was a great lover of his home and was a very religious man, being a member of the Lutheran church. Funeral services were held at the Lutheran church, Lidderdale, Saturday afternoon, services being conducted by Rev. H. P. Schmitz. Burial was made in the Lutheran cemetery.
