L. MABEL PORTER
Miss L. Mabel Porter of 1046 Jefferson Avenue died suddenly of a heart seizure at 8:25 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11, 1967, in Washington Hospital.
Miss Porter was born at Millsboro, a daughter of William E. and Lucy Doak Porter. She was employed for more than 35 years at PaulÕs Grocery Store No. 1 on Jefferson Avenue.
She was a member of Jefferson Avenue Methodist Church.
Surviving are one sister, Helen G. Porter, Washington and several nieces and nephews. Three brothers and three sisters are deceased.

PORTER - Friends of L. Mabel Porter, 1046 Jefferson Avenue, who died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 1967, will be received by the family after 7 p.m. Thursday in the William G. Neal Funeral Home, 925 Allison Avenue, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, in charge of Rev. Richard M. King, pastor of Jefferson Avenue Methodist Church. Burial in Washington Cemetery.
