 DR. WILLIAM EALY
  Word has been received in Waynesburg of the death of Dr. William S. Ealy, a native of Time, in Greene County, which occurred August 23 at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
  He was a member of two early Greene County families, having been a son of James Martin and Minnie Huffman Ealy. He was reared on the family farm in Morris township and received his elementary education in a one-room school in that community.
  He later attended Waynesburg College for one year and taught school for one year before going west. After service with the U. S. Army in World War I he located at Paolo (sic), Mo. (sic), where he became an osteopath physician.
  He was a graduate of the colleges of osteopathy in Kirksville, Mo., and Kansas City. He had practiced his profession for more than three decades.
  He was a charter member of the Miani (sic) American Legion post in his home city, of the Veterans of Foreign wars and various scientific and professional organizations.
  He is survived by his wife, Esther; one daughter, Mrs. Ann Redmond, of St. Joseph, Mo., two sons, James, of Marietta and Richard of Amirillo (sic), Texas, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
  Also by one sister, Mrs. Margaret Willison of Sycamore, a niece, Mrs. Vera W. Patterson, and one nephew, J. Kenneth Willison, both of Waynesburg.
