ESSIE V. HUFFMAN
Essie Viola Huffman, 85, of Graysville, died Friday, January 17, 1969, at 8:25 p. m. in Greene County Memorial Hospital, Waynesburg.
She was born July 20, 1883, in East Finley Township, a daughter of Simon L. and Jane Wise Sprowls.
She was married to Delmar L. Huffman in 1906, and lived in Graysville since then. He died October 28, 1960.
She was a member of Union Valley Methodist Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Graysville Fire Department.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Sophie Barker, of Washington, and Mrs. Pearl McGlumphy, of Houston, Tex., and several nieces and nephews. She was one of 12 children. Three brothers and six sisters are deceased.

HUFFMAN - Friends of Essie Viola Huffman, of Graysville, who died Friday, Janaury 17, 1969, will be received from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p. m. Monday at the Thompson Funeral Home, Avella. The remains will be taken Tuesday, January 21, at 1 p. m. to the Enon Baptist Church, where services will be held at 2 p. m. by Rev. Frederick Durchell, of the Union Valley Methodist Church. Burial in Enon Cemetery.
