Note: N14543 Given name (Harold), surname (Jenkins) and status (deceased) in February, 1967, from the obituary of Mrs. Mary A. Swart - "The Washington Observer" newspaper, Washington, Washington County, Pennsylvania, Thursday, February 23, 1967, page 10, Friday, February 24, 1967, page 8 -------------------- IN MEMORIAM. In memory of Harold Jenkins, who died at the home of his parents 632 Duff St., Pittsburg, Monday night Jan. 8, 1900, at 11:16 of laryngitis, son of W. E. and Belle Jenkins, aged 3 years and 8 days. Our dear little Harold now has gone No more our home he'll cheer; The joy his presence always gave Is now no longer here. In our home circle there's a void, Which never can be filled; His voice here no more is heard, His little voice is still. With anxious hearts around his couch, We watched for health's return, But fierce disease did sure its work, And now we're left to mourn. Though he was dearly loved, We would not call him down; From you bright world so much desired To leave his jeweled crown. Farewell dear Harold till we meet In that better land above, And there with Jesus we will dwell In pure and heavenly love. A Friend.
