 Herald Roscoe Ealy
  Herald R. Ealy, 90, Waynesburg R.D. 5, died at 1:20 a.m. Wednesday, August 26, 1987, in Greene County Memorial Hospital after an illness of two months.
  He was born November 27, 1896, in West Finley, a son of Martin Ellsworth Ealy and Adelina (sic) Sprowls Ealy. He had formerly made his home in Wind Ridge and in Apollo, and had resided in the Waynesburg area for the past 30 years.
  Mr. Ealy was a retired driller who worked for many years for the Equitable Gas Company. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Waynesburg.
  During World War I he served in the U.S. Army with an engineering battalion. He was a charter member of James T. Farrell Post 330, American Legion, Waynesburg.
  His wife, Jessie Fordyce Ealy, died July 24, 1984. They were married November 1, 1920.
  Surviving are a son, Dale R. Ealy of Waynesburg; three grandsons, James E. Ealy of Washington and John H. and Joseph E. Ealy of Waynesburg; four great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Gertrude McGowan, in Florida.
  A son died in infancy. Two brothers, Havely (sic) and Glenn Ealy, are also deceased.
  EALY - Friends of Herald R. Ealy of Waynesburg R.D. 5, who died Wednesday, August 26, 1987, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday in the Behm Funeral Home, Inc., 182 West High Street, Waynesburg, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 29, by the Rev. David Holste and the Rev. Scott Mapes. Interment in Greene County Memorial Park, with graveside military rites by James Farrell Post 330, American Legion, Waynesburg.
