Ree Z. Karr
Ree Z. Karr, 82, of West Finley R.D.1, died at 6:40 a.m. Sunday, December 22, 1991, in Greene County Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness.
She was born March 16, 1909, a daughter of Jacob L. and Minnie V. Henry Sprowls.
Mrs. Karr resided in Delaware from 1951 until she returned to West Finley in April 1981. She formerly attended Windy Gap Presbyterian Church.
In 1951, she married Kenneth Karr, who died in July 1980.
Surviving are a son, Roy M. Clovis of West Finley R.D.1; a step granddaughter, Mrs. Dennis (Tracey) Hartzell; a step great-granddaughter, Kayla Hartzell, and a sister, Mrs. Frank (Daisey) Harris of Washington.
Deceased in addition to her husband, are a stepson, Donald Karr; four brothers, Oakey Sprowls, Melvin Sprowls, Winson Sprowls and Delmar Sprowls; and two sisters, Sylvia Reese and Ruby Hughes.
KARR - Friends of Ree Z. Karr, 82, of West Finley R.D.1, who died Sunday, December 22, 1991, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the Rush Funeral Home, Rogersville, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 24, with the Rev. Robert Hedges officiating. Interment in West Finley Cemetery.
