Huffman Mrs. Minnie Lightner Huffman, widow of Joseph Huffman, aged 84, died at her home in Nineveh at about 7:30 a. m. Saturday, Dec. 21, 1940, of complications. She had been ill for about three weeks. A daughter of the late M. C. and Mary Ferrell Lightner, the deceased was born February 18, 1856, in Morris Township, where she spent all of her life. She was married to Joseph Huffman on October 10, 1878, and he preceded her in death on November 11, 1925. A lifelong active member of the Nineveh Methodist Church, the deceased was church treasurer for a number of years and a member of several organizations connected with the church. She is the last of a family of five children. Survivors include six children, W. C. and Joseph Huffman, Washington, Pa.; Cage Huffman, Nineveh; Harley Huffman, Holbrook; Mrs. Jessie Ely, Claysville, R. D., and Ray Huffman, Waynesburg; 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Two other children, Mrs. Myrtle Thompson and Mrs. Fannie Durbin, are deceased. HUFFMAN - Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Lightner Huffman will be held at 1 p. m. today, Dec. 23, from hher (sic) late home in Nineveh, with further services in the Nineveh Methodist Church, the Rev. George A. Parkins and the Rev. William Daugherty officiating. Friends will be received at the Huffman residence. Interment will be in Hopewell Cemetery. Ralph H.
