 CEPHAS W. PORTER
  Cephas W. Porter, a well known farmer of Luzerne Township, died suddenly of a heart condition at his home at 8:30 Friday morning, October 21, 1938, near Hopewell church. He was born March 18, 1862, being 72 (sic) years of age.
  Funeral services will be held at 2:30 Sunday afternoon at the house. Services in charge of Rev. R. C. Bamemen. Six nephews will be pallbearers.
  He is survived by his widow, Lucy Knight Porter, and one daughter, Sara at home; three brothers and one sister, Armstrong, Ewing, Frank and Ann, all of Luzerne township.
