 EWING PORTER
  Ewing Porter, 63, a well known farmer of Luzerne township, died in the Brownsville General Hospital Friday night, May 26, 1939, at 6:55 o'clock of a cerebral hemorrhage.
  Mr. Porter was stricken while riding a horse about his farm on Friday morning about 6 o'clock. He fell from the animal and was rushed to the hospital. He was born and spent his entire life in Luzerne township.
  Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Blanche Harn Porter, the following children, Wilbur of East Millsboro, William of New Castle; Mrs. Rufus Vernon of Brownsville; Mrs. Quedo Perna of LaBelle; Eugene, Anna Mary, Betty, Blanch, James and Phillip (sic) at home and two brothers, Armstrong and Frand (sic) and a sister, Miss Anna Porter, all of Luzerne township.
  Funeral services will be held at the Porter home mid-way between Brownsville and East Millsboro, Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. R. C. VanEman officiating. Burial will follow in Acklin cemetery.
