 JAMES M. EALY KILLED
 IN AUTOMOBILE ACCIDENT
James M. Ealy, of Sycamore, was instantly killed in an automobile accident, Friday evening, when his machine went over an embankment.
Just what caused the accident is not known. Mr. Ealy left his home about 6:30 oÕclock and drove to the home of Frank Pettit in Washington township where he transacted some business. He started home and had only gone a short distant when his automobile left the road and went over an embankment, falling about ten feet into Pettit run. Mr. Pettit and son witnessed the accident and rushed at once to the scene, but Mr. Ealy was dead when they arrived, having evidently been killed instantly.
Mr. Ealy was a contractor for stone and concrete work and prominent citizen of the community. He was an active member of the Baptist church and at the time of his death was superintendent of the Sunday school. He was also a member of the Grange.
He is survived by his wife, who was Miss Minnie Huffman, and two children, Dr. William Ealy, of Missouri, and Mrs. Ralph Willison of Sycamore.
