 MRS. JOHN SCOTT
  Mrs. John Scott died suddenly at her home, in Franklin Township, Sunday, Jan. 29, aged 62 years. Mrs. Scott was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Rinehart, deceased. She was an excellent christian woman, having been an active member of Coallick M. P. Church for many years. For six years she was matron of the county home. Besides her husband, the following children survive: Mrs. Mordecai Shriver, Mrs. John Cowan, both of Waynesburg; Mrs. Henry McNoel (sic) of Jefferson township; Ross Scott, of Franklin township, and Randolph, who is a clerk in the Scott Hardware Store, this place. Two sisters, Mrs. J. M. Scott, of Muddy creek and Mrs Jonas Milliken, of Des Moines Iowa, also survive. The funeral services were held on Tuesday at 11:00 oÕclock conducted by Rev. Colhour. Interment in the family burying ground.
