 SAMUEL CAGE HUFFMAN
  Samuel Cage Huffman, 84, of Nineveh, a former Morris Township tax collector, died at 8:55 p.m. Sunday, December 15, 1968, in the Greene County Memorial Hospital. Mr. Huffman had suffered a cerebral hemorrhage Sunday morning and was admitted.
  He was born April 8, 1884, in Morris Township, near Nineveh, a son of Joseph and Mary Jane Lightner Huffman.
  All of his life was spent in the area and he had resided at Nineveh since 1919.
  In addition to having served as tax collector, Mr. Huffman, a lifelong Democrat, was a retired employe of the Manufacturers Light and Heat Company having retired in 1949 after 32 years with the firm.
  He was a member of the Nineveh United Methodist Church, a charter member of the Washington County Chapter of the Quarter Century Club of the Manufacturers Light and Heat Company.
  His first wife, Coral Thompson Huffman, died May 13, 1943.
  Surviving are his second wife, Jessie Hoplins (sic) Garner Huffman; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Wilson and Ruth, wife of Wilbert Clutter, both of Washington; one son, Charles Huffman, of Waynesburg; two step daughters: Margaret, wife of Ross Smith, of Waynesburg, and Dorothy, wife of John Morris, of Waynesburg, R. D. 4; one step son, Clyde Varner, of Amity; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several step grandchildren and several step great-grandchildren; two brothers: Ray F. Huffman, of Harrisburg, and Joseph Huffman, of Washington. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
  Three sisters and two brothers are deceased.
  HUFFMAN - Friends of Samuel Cage Huffman, of Nineveh, who died Sunday, Dec. 15, 1968, will be received after 7 p.m. Monday at the Mariner and Milliken Funeral Home, Waynesburg, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. Burial in Rosemont Cemetery.
