 MRS. DAVID E. PORTER
  Mrs. Lucy M. Porter, 160 Springfield Avenue, died Wednesday, October 2, 1968, at 12:35 p.m., in the Haven Crest rest home, where she had been since July 1.
  She was born April 11, 1883, in Greene County, a daughter of John and Lucinda Gordon Meighen.
  Mrs. Porter was a member of Central Presbyterian Church of Washington.
  For a number of years she taught school in Greene County.
  Surviving are her husband, David E. (Ed) Porter, who was with the Washington Police Department for 38 years, retiring in 1962; a son, Glenn E. Porter Charleroi; three grandchildren; two brothers, John L. Meighen, Dormont, and James L. Meighen, Waynesburg; two sisters, Mrs. Kate Minton, Graysville, and Mrs. Adeline Thomas, Washington. Five brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.

  PORTER - Friends of Lucy M. Porter, 160 Springfield Avenue, Washington, who died Wednesday, October 2, 1968, will be received in the Graham P. Cowieson Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. The funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, October 5, by Rev. Wendell E. Harford, pastor of Central Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Gardens.
