Powers William Warren Ray Powers, 43, lifelong resident of Morris Township, died Saturday morning, March 1, 1947, at 4 oÕclock at his home near Nineveh, (Sycamore, R. D. 1). Mr. Powers had been ill for the past five weeks. A son of O. A. Powers and Daisy Porter Powers, of Waynesburg, he was born May 29, 1903, in Morris Township, and for the past 11 years had driven the school bus for the Morris Township School Board. He was married eleven years ago to Pearl Swaniger, who survives. Besides his wife and parents he leaves one foster son, Richard, at home, and one sister, Mrs. Goldie Rush, of R. D. 1, Sycamore. POWERS - Funeral services for William Warren Ray Powers, Sycamore, R. D. 1, who died Saturday, March 1, 1947, will be held Tuesday afternoon, March 4, with services at his late home near Nineveh at 1:30 oÕclock, followed by further rites at 2 oÕclock in the Nineveh Methodist Church. The services will be in charge of Rev. Lester Peters. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery.
